The Inaugural Commonwealth Youth Games were held in Edinburgh, Scotland from 10th to 14th August 2000, II Commonwealth Youth Games were held in Bendigo, Australia from 30th November to 3rd December 2004, III Commonwealth Youth Games were held in Pune, India from 12th to 18th October, 2008 and IV Commonwealth Youth Games were held in the British Crown Dependency of Isle of Man, UK from 7 to 13 September 2011 respectively. Pakistan did not participate in the I & II Commonwealth Youth Games except III & IV Commonwealth Youth Games. In III Commonwealth Youth Games, Pakistan won 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medals in Wrestling but can not secure any position in IV Commonwealth Youth Games.
The V Commonwealth Youth Games was held on the Pacific island nation of Samoa from 5-11 September 2015.
